Here's how the Stylus 1's touch screen can be used to your advantage when focussing.
| Olympus Stylus 1 in Digital Camera Operation
The Olympus Stylus 1's touch screen lets you take a photo with just one tap, but it can also be used to focus your images as desired, too.
Wherever you tap on the screen is where the camera will focus, allowing you to accurately choose the main subject of your image, without having to adjust anything yourself.
Here are some extra tips to help you get the shot:
Hold the camera steady - Holding the camera with both hands and close to your body will help to stabilise the shot if you're not using a tripod.
Pan with the subject - The fast response touch screen of the Stylus 1 helps you to focus and shoot in a split second, but it will also help to pan along with a fast moving subject to keep them where you want in the frame before you tap the screen.
Be aware - Have your camera out and be aware of your surroundings so any fleeting photographic opportunities don't pass you by. It's better to take too many photos and review them after rather than not take enough and regret it later!
