Fujifilm unveils the latest development roadmap for interchangeable lenses for the GFX Series of mirrorless digital cameras.
| Fujifilm GFX 50S II in Interchangeable LensesFujifilm has updated its GF lens roadmap with 3 new lenses that will be making an appearance in 2022/2023 and one of them is a tilt-shift lens.
The first lens to be added to the latest development roadmap is the large-aperture prime standard GF 55mm f/1.7 lens (equivalent to 44mm in the 35mm film format) and it joins the GF 80mm f/1.7 R WR to expand the line-up of f/1.7 lenses in the GF range.
The second lens to be added to the roadmap is the G Mount’s first ultra-wide-angle zoom lens - the GF 20-35mm (equivalent to 16mm-28mm in the 35mm film format). We have no details on f-stops just the focal length for now. Finishing off the trio is a tilt & shift lens that's currently in development but that's all we know so far.
With the new additions, 17 lenses are now on the development roadmap for the GFX Series.
As well as the three lenses getting added to the roadmap, Fujifilm has also announced the release of the Fujifilm GFX 50S II and GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR lens.
