Fujifilm To Add 30mm f/3.5 & 80mm f/1.7 Lenses To The GF Lens Line-Up Plan

Fujifilm has added two new GF lenses to its lens development roadmap, taking the eventual total for the GF lens line-up to 13 lenses.

The two new lenses, which will be compatible with the GFX Mirrorless Camera System, are the Fujinon GF 30mm f/3.5 R WR and the Fujinon GF 80mm f/1.7 R WR.

The wide-angle 30mm lens is an equivalent 24mm focal length in the 35mm film format and will have a slim, compact and lightweight body while the standard 80mm lens with an equivalent focal length of 63mm in the 35mm film format will be the lens with the widest aperture among GF lenses. This compact and lightweight lens will have a wider angle of view than the highly popular GF100mm f/2 R LM WR and deliver the same level of image quality.

No details on pricing and availability have been announced but Fujifilm has officially introduced the GF 45-100mm f/4 R LM OIS WR lens today which was first added to the Fujifilm lens roadmap back in 2018.

Fujifilm has also introduced the X-T200 along with a new XC 35mm lens and a firmware update for the Fujifilm X-A7 will be available soon.
