I am sure this is an excellent camera except (here we go again...)DR, I mean even mild shadows are black

The background is also out of focus compared to the fore. Maybe that's a lens fault, though.Tongue

Jose - those shadows tell you nothing about DR, only that it's underexposed. If you were not able to bring the shadows back up in post, THEN it would have poor DR. The X-T2 has really excellent DR. See for some good examples of it's excellent dynamic range. My X-Pro2 has really good DR also.
