XP200 Blue Front

Fujifilm has introduced a new camera to its XP outdoor range. The FinePix XP200 is set to define new standards for all-weather digital compacts (15m Waterproof, 2m Shockproof, Sand/Dustproof and -10°C Freezeproof); and builds on the success of FUJIFILM’s previous XP models.

The ultimate camera for the outdoor enthusiast and extreme adventurer; whether you’re into climbing mountains or diving in the oceans, the FinePix XP200 has what it takes to deliver high quality still shots and Full HD movies, whatever the conditions. Its CMOS sensor empowers continuous shooting at up to 10fps (max. 9 frames) with a dedicated "Burst mode" button which lets you instantly switch to continuous shooting mode. And with the XP200’s new Wi-Fi® PC Auto Save function, Fujifilm is offering a simple and very useful means of automatically backing up your photos to your home PC.

At the very core of the XP200 is the camera’s 1/2.3-inch 16 million pixel CMOS sensor. With ISO sensitivity up to 6400 and CMOS Shift Image Stabilisation, image capture is handled with ease ensuring that sharp, clear pictures are produced, even in challenging low-light conditions. Details in shadow and in bright light can be lost on cameras with conventional sensors; however, the XP200’s CMOS sensor ensures that beautifully balanced pictures are taken.

Key Features:
  • Waterproof to 15m / Shockproof to 2m / Dustproof / Freezeproof to -10ºC
  • 1/2.3-inch 16 million pixel CMOS sensor
  • 5x optical zoom (10x Intelligent Digital Zoom)
  • CMOS-shift image stabilisation
  • 3.0-inch, 920K-dot LCD screen with anti-reflective coating
  • Wireless Image Transfer to smartphones & tablets
  • Wi-Fi® connectivity to PCs (for easy image backup)
  • Full HD movie recording with dedicated Video button
  • 10fps continuous shooting mode at full resolution (max. 9 frames)
  • Dedicated “Burst mode” button
  • Available in Blue, Yellow, Black, and Red
  • Approx. 300 shots per battery charge
The XP200 will be available from the end of April 2013 for £229.99. For more information, visit the Fujifilm website.
