With the UK lockdown slowly easing, more people are thinking about foreign holidays again and to help you get ready for those warmer shores, photoAiD is helping you create your passport photos free of charge (for a limited time).
photoAiD wanted to help out during the pandemic so until 31 March 2021, you can create your passport, driving license or any other UK identity document photos with them free of charge.
All you have to do is visit photoAid, choose the document you want to create upload your photo and once the processing is complete, download your passport photo free of charge. You will need to take your photo in front of a plain white background as this free option doesn't include background removal and one of the main points listed on the Gov passport renew website is that backgrounds must be plain.
Other guidelines include:
- From the bottom of the chin to the crown should be between 29mm-34mm
- Leave some space between the subject and the frame
- Remove glasses
- Eyes must be clear, open and have no red eye or reflections
- The shot must be straight on and show the full face
- The photograph must be sharp
- Photo manipulation is not permitted
Visit photoAiD before the end of March to create your passport photos for free.
