Gitzo has introduced a Mini Traveler to their tripod range which they say is 'the most lightweight carbon fiber tripod kit on the market'.

The Gitzo Mini Traveler is a new tripod, designed to be used with mirrorless cameras or DSLRs with small and medium lenses.
Thanks to its size, the tripod can be used on a tabletop as well as on the ground and it will easily fit in a photographic bag without taking up too much space.
The Gitzo Mini Traveler is constructed from carbon eXact tubes and an aluminium head, it weighs 265g and can support 3kg with the Mini Traveler Head, 10kg when paired with the Gitzo Centre Ball Head and the legs on their own have a 25kg payload.
Engineered with a brand new (patent pending) Pull & Fix leg angle selector system, it features two leg angles and long-lasting rubber feet designed to increase grip on most surfaces. The ergonomic rubberised gear easily locks and controls the stainless steel ball head, which is also compatible with the Gitzo Traveler Tripod, and the Mini Traveler legs can be matched with the smallest Gitzo Traveler ball head, making it possible to switch between tripods without needing to detach the camera from the tripod’s head.
