Traveler α tripod

Gitzo has developed a new tripod and L-Bracket for those who own Sony α7 and α9 cameras.

The Traveler α tripod has a black/silver finish and is a compact, lightweight tripod that's perfect for holidays and, as the name suggests, travel

It weighs 1.43kg, extends to 165cm high and safely holds up to 10kg of gear. Thanks to the 180-degree leg-folding system, the Traveler α's legs reverse-fold around its centre column and head, allowing it to fold down to 43cm and it can be carried easily thanks to the ergonomic strap that's made of genuine Italian leather and crafted to resemble carbon fibre.

This model is recommended for use with lenses up to 135mm and can be used for low-angle or macro shots when the legs are at the widest angle and its short centre column used. Its legs are made of Carbon eXact tubing and feature the 'Traveler G-lock' - a travel-size version of Gitzo’s G-lock and the tripod also has specially designed compact rubber feet as well as a carbon fibre tripod head with an independent pan/tilt lock.

The Traveler α tripod is available now for £909.95.

Gitzo's new L-Bracket α

Gitzo's new L-Bracket α is made from a single solid aluminium piece and offers four main attachment points for the camera strap connection, ensuring a secure coupling with the solid aluminium body and specific positioning has been considered to minimise camera vibration during transportation. Plus, the Gitzo L-Bracket α makes switching from landscape to portrait orientation extremely easy, keeping the existing set and camera perfectly balanced and eliminating the risk of picture blurriness.

The L-bracket α's upper side is designed to ensure full and easy access to camera cabling, either for video shooting or indoor tethering and it features dedicated housing for its hex key accessories.

The L-bracket α is available now for £174.95.
