A black and white portrait full of storytelling and great light has won ePHOTOzine's 'Photo of the Week' accolade.

A female model captured in beautiful light in an unusual setting has been crowned our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) winner on ePHOTOzine.
ePz member TornadoTys went to an event at Crossness Pumping station where he was given the opportunity to photograph the lovely Betty who you see sat posed in our POTW winning shot.
We love the light in this image which ensures all focus falls on the model with detail in everything from the laces in her boots to the lashes framing her eyes sharp. The framing is excellent as it the mono treatment applied to the shot. We also like the stories you can create in your mind with ourselves thinking, perhaps, she could be a dancer taking a break or someone who shuns the norm, choosing to perform in an old pumping station in biker boots rather than on a stage in Ballet shoes.
All of our POTW winners receive a Samsung EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with an SD Adapter courtesy of Samsung. To be in with a chance of becoming our next POTW winner, simply upload an image to our gallery where you'll also find all of our past POTW winners.
Plus, going forward, we will also announce a new 'Photo of the Year' winner who'll win a Samsung Portable SSD T7. Each POTW winner, 52 in total, will then have their image shared in a new POTW forum where, in January 2022, we will ask you all to hit the 'like' button on your favourite images. Then, the ePHOTOzine team will count up the likes and our first 'Photo of the Year' winner will be announced.
