The image, entitled 'Mother and Daughter' was captured by ePz member backbeat and here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade:

This is a lovely portrait of two very well behaved dogs. these two beautiful cocker spaniels are sporting glossy coats, are perfectly posed and are looking straight at the camera - this is some feat to achieve.

The muted brown and tweed-green tones of the seat and the jacket give a hunting feel to the image, as does the gun laid at the dogs' feet. The surroundings also complement the shades of the dogs' coats. The image has been composed well and would make a stunning portrait for any proud owner's wall.
