Harman has announced the winners of the UK Student Competition 2014 entitled 'Motion'.

Harman has announced the winners of its annual competition for UK photography students which in 2014, attracted a record number of entries.
The title of 'Ilford Photo Student Photographer of the Year 2014 - Darkroom' has been awarded to Elliott Jagger from Leeds College of Art for a print entitled: 'Light in the dark'. The Runner Up was Laura Cogan of Lincoln College with 'Almost there'.
Andy Barton from The Manchester College has been awarded the title of ‘Harman technology Student Photographer of the Year 2014 - Digital' with his winning print 'Trebor', while Brydn Webb of Norwich University of the Arts was Runner Up with 'Boot 2'.
As well as their titles the winners receive an awards certificate and £150 to spend with Harman, and will have their winning images professionally mounted and framed. The Runners Up also receive a certificate and £100 to spend online with Harman.
Cardinal Newman College once again submitted the most eligible entries and receive a voucher for £250 to spend in the Harman online store.
Steven Brierley, Director of Sales & Marketing at Harman said: "We have always had marvelous support from tutors and technicians in the colleges. It is no surprise that we continue to receive so many exceptional prints entered for our competitions. This year we were very nearly overwhelmed by the large number of entries that we had to judge from. I think the winners have shown excellent thought and technique."
