Hasselblad has introduced various updates for its iPad app as well as the X1D II 50C camera and XCD lens range.
| Hasselblad X1D II 50c in Industry NewsHasselblad X1D II 50C users can now import, edit and rate RAW images and import and rate full quality JPEG images directly to their iPad with the PHOCUS MOBILE 2 app. Plus, there's a firmware update available for all Hasselblad XCD lenses.
In addition, Phocus Mobile 2 supports full quality image export, tethered shooting and direct camera control.
To ensure your device is compatible, you'll need to download the 1.1.0 firmware update for the X1D II 50C from the Hasselblad website where firmware update 0.5.40 is also available for all Hasselblad XCD lenses.
The lens firmware update provides added support for all focal lengths, including improved AF for XCD 65 and XCD 80 as well as improved manual focus control.
Phocus Mobile 2 is currently only supported on iPad Air 2019 and iPad Pro 2nd and 3rd generation recommended, minimum 3GB RAM models. Phocus Mobile 2 for iPhone is planned for a future release.
