Designed to further the capabilities of all X System cameras, the XCD 4/45P is a new lightweight and compact lens from Hasselblad.
| Interchangeable Lenses
Hasselblad has introduced a new lens for the medium format X System cameras which is, currently, the world’s lightest digital medium format autofocus lens on the market today.
The XCD 45P features an optical design incorporating two aspherical elements and thanks to evolved designs, the noise from the autofocus motor and leaf shutter (allows for flash sync up to 1/2000s) have been reduced. There's also a mechanically connected focus ring so those wanting to use it manually can.
The XCD 45P is suitable for a wide variety of subjects including food/still life photography as the lens has a minimum focus distance of 35cm (13.8in) and a maximum image scale of 1:5.2.
Support for the XCD 45P, so it can be used on the X1D-50c, will be available in an upcoming firmware update.
