Professional photographer Mark Waugh is capturing the spirit of Manchester in 24-hours and he needs your help to succeed.

One of Manchester’s best-known photographers is calling on residents and visitors to the city to join him on a unique 24-hour photography project.
On 1 April 2017, Mark Waugh wants amateur photographers to grab a camera to help him build a visual library of what Manchester looks like in 2017. Called 'A Day In The Life', Mark wants to see all walks of life captured in the city - from buskers and shoppers to tourists and skateboarders.
Throughout the day, images can be uploaded live to the Cartridge Save website, who are supporting the project, before being printed out and transformed into a piece of art by a local artist.
Commenting on the project, Mark said: "I hope that as many people as possible get involved, from kids with smartphones, through all the workers of the city to the elderly to give the broadest possible range of what life in 2017 looks like."
To get involved, visit the 'A Day In The Life' page on the Cartridge Save website.
