Flaghead Photographic, the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor of Honl Photo products announce the launch of three new Honl filter kits:

Honl Photo Sampler Filter (Gel) Kit
HonlPhoto Sampler Kit, a selection of each filter in our Colour Effects & Colour Correction Kits.
Includes one of each filter: 1/2 CTB, Full CTO, 1/2 CTO, 1/4 CTO,  Full+Green,  Yellow,  Bright Red, Just Blue,  Moss Green,  Heavy Frost
 
Honl Photo Autumn Filter (Gel) Kit
HonlPhoto Autumn Filter Kit adds dramatic colour to images, whether lighting a subject or background. These superior quality filters attach quickly to Speed Strap (sold separately) and can be used in tandem with Speed Grids, Speed Snoots, and Speed Gobos (Barndoors). Usable filter area is 2.5in x 4in. Includes 2 filter of each colour: Rust, Medium Blue-Green, Chocolate, Dark Salmon,  gg Yolk Yellow.

Honl Photo Hollywood Filter (Gel) Kit
HonlPhoto Hollywood Filter Kit adds dramatic colour to images, whether lighting a subject or background. These superior quality filters attach quickly to a Speed Strap (sold separately) and can be used in tandem with Grids, Snoots and Gobos (Barndoors). Usable filter area is 2.5in x 4in. Includes 2 of each colour: Steel Green, Rose Purple, Pale Lavender, Smokey Pink, Follies Pink.

All filter kits are priced at £13.50 plus Vat.

About the Honl Photo Professional Speed System
The Honl Photo Speed System is a collection of lightweight, durable and affordable light modifiers for shoe-mount flash units.  Designed to universally fit all shoe-mount flash, the versatile light modifiers from Honl Photo provide photographers with an assortment of practical tools to shape light without resorting to cumbersome, heavy and expensive lighting equipment.  Devised by photojournalist David Honl, the Honl Speed System consists of an assortment of Grids, Snoots, Gobos, and Gels that attach quickly and easily to any shoe-mount flash via the Speed Strap, a simple, non-slip velcro strap that wraps around the flash head without the use of annoying adhesives.  The Honl Photo Speed System allows you to bring studio-style lighting control with you into the field.

Has anyone compared the Honl system with the Interfit Strobies range?

The Strobies seem to offer a wider range of light modifiers, but the Honl system seems more compact and portable.

Anyone got any experience of the two systems?
