Honor has released the 48MP View20 smartphone and we've been given the chance to get hands-on with the new device.

In December, Honor announced they were taking charge of the megapixel race by adding a 48-megapixel camera to a smartphone and we've been given the opportunity to get hands-on with the brand-new device. 

The Honor View20 has a 48-megapixel rear camera and on the front is a 25MP f/2.0 selfie camera but it's built directly into the display meaning the screen, almost, offers 100% area coverage as there's no top notch. 

Unlike smartphones we've seen to date with dual, triple or even quad-cameras, the Honor View20 only has the 48-megapixel camera built-in (on the rear) so it'll definitely be interesting to see how it performs once review samples are made available.
