First Step
When you find a forum topic you want to add a photo to, the first thing you'll see is the comments/photos posted by other members, as well as the person's comment who started the thread. In the Photo Month forum, for example, this would usually be me, nik111, introducing the day's topic which will then be followed by photos posted by various members.
The top of the page will look something like this:
Find The Comment Box
Next, if you're adding a comment rather than creating a new topic, scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll find the 'Add a Comment' box.
This is what it looks like:
If Creating A New Topic
If you're creating a new topic you won't need to scroll to the bottom of the page as the comment box will already be at the top of the page like this:
Adding A Photo
To add a photo, click the sixth icon from the left (it looks like a camera). Here's the icon:
Click the icon and two buttons will appear that look like this:
'Browse Computer' allows you to select images from your computer while 'Browse Portfolio' allows you to select images you've already uploaded to ePHOTOzine that are in your portfolio.
If you are choosing images from your portfolio you simply click on the individual photo you want to share in the forum. There is an option to upload multiple images, too, if you want to share more than one image. For those uploading images from your computer, you need to find the folder the image is in, select it and click 'open'.
Add A Comment Box
You won't be able to see the image yet, however, you will see that the image's name has appeared in the 'Add a Comment' box with [epzimg] [/epzimg] around it. You can add text above and below this to change where the image appears in the post.
Final Step
If you want to preview the photo before you post it, click 'Preview' otherwise you can click 'Add' and your image will now be posted in the forum.

Quote:Was looking at how to add photos and have a couple of questions. I suppose we use jpegs? And what size is the best to use for the site? Thanks.
Jpegs are best but don't worry about the size; our system sorts this for you.
