EIZO ScreenSlicer Software

By downloading and installing EIZO's free ScreenSlicer software, users can easily and quickly partition a widescreen monitor, allowing it to be used more effectively. Multiple windows can be easily aligned and dropped into the partitioned areas in single- or multi-monitor environments and here's how:

 

Select Or Create Your Desired Partition Pattern

Open the software so the 'Pattern Settings' window appears. In this window, seven pre-designed monitor partition patterns are available to choose from. If you decide to use one of these, select the one you want and click 'Apply'. If you'd prefer to create your own click 'Edit'. You can also choose which monitor the design is used on via the Monitor dropdown when working in a multiple monitor environment.

Creating Your Own Partition Pattern

If you create your own design, partitions can be easily created using your mouse. Up to six boarders (gridlines) can be added and utilised per monitor. To add a frame line, left click and simply drag your mouse along to create new frame lines. Frame Lines can be moved with your mouse cursor by hovering over it and 'grabbing' the line. To erase a line, simply press the 'Delete' key.

Once happy, right-click and select 'Save'. You'll be able to name your pattern then press 'OK'. Your new layout will now appear in the pattern list. As before, select your chosen pattern and click 'Apply'. 

Set The Windows In Position

Simply drag your window while holding the 'Shift' key and drop it into one of the outlined frames. You don't have to worry about resizing the window as this is done automatically.

If the application has position detection capabilities, it will automatically reappear in the same partition window the next time it is opened.
