Here's a cool tutorial that uses the sound from speakers to create splashes of colourful paint that look very abstract when photographed.

There's a really interesting photography tutorial over on YouTube that uses an old speaker, sound and some colourful paint to create splash-style photos with a twist.

The tutorial is by Steve Kazemir and he walks you through all of the steps you need to follow, and the camera settings you need to use, to recreate his paint splash photography images.

Don't let the set-up put you off as it does look like a lot of fun and the results are quite spectacular.
