HTC 10 Evo Announced With 16mp Camera

HTC has announced the new HTC 10 Evo (known as the HTC 10 Bolt in the US), with a tough smartphone body, along with a new 16 megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Features include a full metal unibody, which has been drop, bend, scratch, submersion, climate and corrosion tests. The phone is water, splash, and dust resistant with an IP57 rating. The smartphone does not feature a headphone jack, instead USB Type-C headphones are provided.

The camera has phase-detection auto focus (PDAF), manual controls, as well as raw support, and the Selfie camera has Auto HDR, as well as wide-angle panoramic shooting to let you capture more people in group shots. The HTC 10 Evo is not an update to the HTC 10, but instead is a larger addition to the phone range.
