Photographer Cal Thomson has put together a simple and easy to follow tutorial on creating a hyperlapse.
If you're like me and haven't heard of the term before, it's basically timelapse photography but you move the camera between exposures. By doing so, you create a sequence of shots that take the viewer on a journey where they move through the frame and everything around them is also moving.
To fully understand the process, it's just easier to watch Cal's video tutorial where he takes you right from kit choices and setting up, to taking the shots and then processing them.
Hopefully, you'll see the end result and think: 'that's rather cool' as we did in the office. Enjoy!
