The Impossible I-1 Instant Camera App has had an update to turn your smartphone into a light meter and more.
| Impossible I-1 Analog Instant Camera in Film CompactsThe Impossible Project has introduced an update for its I-1 Camera & App system which can be used to access a variety of creative tools to remotely capture images with the I-1 instant camera.
The built-in light meter now uses your smartphone's display to review the light in a scene before shooting so it can be used as a guide when making adjustments in manual mode where you can also adjust the camera's shutter speed, aperture, focus distance and flash strength.
As well as the new light meter feature, the app lets you use your phone to draw loops and waves of light onto a photo or to superimpose two images onto a single piece of instant film. The shutter can also be triggered by making a loud noise and the app can be used to digitally scan images, once developed, to share socially.
Android users can download the App for free from the Google Play Store, or iPhone users can download the app from the Apple App Store.
