CBS Outdoor UK has launched the ‘I ♥ My City’ competition in 12 cities across the UK, an online contest asking locals to showcase what they love about their city, using their creative photography skills.
A series of posters using the iconic ‘I Love New York’ design, but adapted for each city will be showcased at the heart of the city in train stations and on local buses, encouraging locals to spread the love and enter a photo. Participants are invited to send in creative and original photographs, taken themselves, of what best encapsulates the love they have for their home town. Pictures will be uploaded onto the microsite where there will be a gallery of entries and the winner will be chosen by a panel of judges.

An online barometer hosted on the site will rank each city in a table according to how much love locals have for their city – this is calculated by the volume of conversation via the city specific hashtag and the number of photos uploaded in each city.
A winning image from each city will then be chosen and these winners will receive a Samsung Galaxy camera and all 12 winning images are showcased in a virtual gallery to millions of London commuters on CBS Outdoor UK’s digital screens on London Underground.
