inPixio Photo Studio 10 offers great value and a comprehensive selection of features to suit both beginner and more advanced photographers alike. Some may find the fact that the software is split into 3 different programs a little inconvenient but this is a small issue when you consider what you're getting for the price.
Photo Studio 10 is well laid out, and easy to use as well as simple to navigate through. Hovering over the tabs in all of the programs provides you with more information on the action to help you use the software efficiently.

Here, we put it to the test to see how it performs.
InPixio Photo Studio 10 Pro Features
When you've downloaded and opened the inPixio Photo Studio 10 software, you're presented with a screen that lets you select the program that you want to work with. The three programs included with inPixio Photo Studio 10 Pro are:
- Photo Eraser - Lets you quickly erase people and objects you don't want in your photo.
- Photo Cutter - Cut around objects to either use them in a collage or completely change the background.
- Photo Editor - Edit your images with a variety of professional yet easy to use effects and sliders.
Three other programs can be purchased separately or as part of a bundle pack with Photo Studio 10 Pro. These are Photo Maximiser (enlarging software), Photo Focus and Eclipse HDR. You can currently save 69% on the Ultimate bundle including everything.
Photo Eraser Features
First, let's take a look at what Photo Eraser offers. When you open the software you're presented with the above screen which offers you walk through tutorials and video tutorials to help you. When you're ready, you can click on open to find the photo you want to erase something from.
Once inside with your selected image, the options for edits are to the right-hand side. You can crop the image to several different ratio sizes. Under the Erase tab, you'll find 4 different methods to erase things from your photo - Selection brush allows you to paint the selection area onto the image, Rectangle selection allows you to place a rectangle of adjustable size onto the image. The Lasso tool allows you to draw a freeform shape onto the photo, anything in the centre of your shape will be erased, and finally, there's the Polygon tool, which allows you to draw a line and click to change the angle of the line until the polygon you create connects up.
There's also a correction patch tab, which allows you to remove an object and then patch the background back in, even when it's tricky to replicate. If you want to use a traditional cloning brush, this is also an option with brush size and hardness adjustment sliders.
Photo Eraser Handling & Performance
Once you've made the selection of what you want to erase, you press the Erase button below the selection methods. The software took a good 30 seconds to 1 minute to process the image and erase the flower.
Results weren't bad considering how varied in terms of texture the soil in the background is. There is some distortion if you look closely, but you'd need to know exactly where the flower used to be to pick it out.
Photo Eraser is a fairly simple application, which is well laid out and looks modern. We had no problem finding our way around the software. What's great is that if you hover over a tab or selection method, you get more information and a demonstration of what it does, so you're clear on the effect it will have before you begin.
When you're happy with your editing, you can hit the save button at the top of the screen, where you'll also find backwards and forwards arrows to move back through your actions if you're not happy. There are also options to print and share your images.
