Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Link 2 Smartphone Printer that prints image directly from smartphones onto instax mini instant film.
The instax mini Link 2 can be used in tandem with a free smartphone app to edit smartphone photos, add frames, stickers, combine up to 8 photos and more before hitting the print button. Users can also choose between two image colour modes – instax-Rich Mode for deeper, enhanced colours and instax-Natural Mode for a more original look.
For those with lots of videos on their smartphones, you can now use the app to select a single frame you want to print and those who are fans of light painting can use the printer itself to draw in the air as there's now a built-in LED light. For even more creativity, hold down the device's feature button to add bubbles, petals, neon, spray paint, or glitter look to your shots.
instax mini Link 2 transfers a print in about 15 seconds and supports continuous printing, capable of printing around 100 instax mini prints per charge.
In addition to smartphone compatibility, instax mini Link 2 is also compatible with the Fujifilm X-S10 mirrorless digital camera.
Pricing & Availability: The instax mini Link 2 is available now in Soft Pink, Clay White and Space Blue colour options for £14.99 on Amazon UK. Accompanying the launch of the instax mini Link 2 will be the new instax mini Spray Art Instant Film, featuring a colourful rainbow spray design which is also available now for £8.99.
Fujifilm also has the Link Wide printer available - a printer that will produce large format instant prints and is designed to sit alongside the Instax Mini Link smartphone printers
