Jacky Parker has won the People’s Choice Plant Portraits award with her highly commended image entitled Soft tones of Autumn
IGPOTY invited everyone to vote for their favourite image in the Plant Portraits category from the finalist and highly commended entries in the third IGPOTY competition. Jacky’s image has emerged the popular winner with her beautifully composed photograph that portrays Echinacea Purpurea White Lustre
surrounded by delicate grasses softly swaying in an autumn breeze.
Jacky says that it’s “a wonderful surprise being voted People’s Choice in the Plant Portraits category. The IGPOTY competition provides me with a treasure trove of inspirational ideas and encouragement. This year I am enjoying the challenges of the ‘4 Seasons’ competitions, bringing myself out of my comfort zone and looking at new aspects of garden photography.”
IGPOTY is now inviting people to vote for their favourite photographs in the Garden Views category! Anyone is welcome to enter until the end of June - log in (or register) on the International Garden Photographer of the Year
