Originally, Irix released a short statement confirming that the sale of the Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens was delayed with COVID-19 to blame for the delay as the virus is causing logistic difficulties with distributors and dealers.

The 45mm f/1.4 manual focus lens is designed for full-frame DSLR cameras and it is available in Canon EF, Nikon F, and Pentax K lens mounts. It was first seen at The Photography Show in 2017 (in prototype form), a variant of the 45mm f/1.4 lens was first released last year as the CINE 45mm T1.5.

Irix aren't the first company to face delays in production due to the coronavirus as Nikon earlier this month announced that the Nikon D6 release would be delayed due to measures implemented to stop the spread of the virus.
