Irix 15mm

Irix have announced that their 15mm T2.6 Cine lens is now available in Canon EF, Sony E, MFT and PL mounts.

The 15mm T2.6 is a fast, ultra wide-angle lens made up of 15 elements in 11 groups. Irix say the lens construction gives beautiful vivid colours, image sharpness and minimal distortion despite the ultra-wide field of view. They also say that the high-quality construction ensures low lens breathing which is important for filmmaking.

The lens front has been optimized to work with 95mm matte boxes. Toothed rings (Mod 0.8 M standard), ensure compatibility with most follow focus accessories and aperture adjustment available on the market.
