Jessops today unveils its pioneering new store launch at Westfield London, the latest concept in luxury retail. At what is set to be Europe’s premier shopping destination, the ergonomic and interactive store will reveal a brand new customer experience from the UK’s leading photographic retailer.
Both tactile and visually engaging, the primary aim of Jessops’ new store is to encourage consumer participation. It achieves this through in-store innovations including ergonomic pods throughout the branch, forming a dynamic and less restrictive shopping environment. Importantly, this is also the brand’s first store to display every camera model, using ground-breaking visual merchandising to create a completely interactive customer experience where customers can touch and test the products pre-purchase.
Commenting on the Westfield store opening, Peter Riordan, store development director for Jessops says “The aim of our new store was to provide a hands-on, interactive experience by not only offering consumers the very best in photography but the opportunity to try and test our varied product range offered by big brands such as Sony, Nikon and Canon. The innovative Westfield branch is the first Jessops outlet to feature a Fuji Dry Lab. The brand new, chemical-free concept in photo processing is positioned in-store to integrate printing technology with the shopping experience, allowing customers to witness their photos being developed as they browse. The store also features Jessops’ Lucidiom kiosks which allow customers to design and create their own personalised, photographic products in a way never previously experienced in store.
Jessops is the UK’s leading photographic retailer with a strong online presence and over 230 stores nationwide. The Westfield London branch will be open to the public from 30th October, offering Jessops customers an exciting new interactive shopping experience.
