Verdict
The Kata DR-465 DL is a lightweight rucksack designed to hold a DSLR, spare lens, flash and other small equipment. It has several small and large pockets to enable you to pack everything you need for a day out.

Kata DR-465 DL Features
The bag can convert into a normal rucksack by removing the padded insert at the bottom, so it is useful even when you're not shooting. It has two large pockets and four smaller ones, as well as pouches and straps to hold a tripod and secure the bag on to a wheely suitcase for travel. The bag also has two metal loops on the straps to enable the use of Kata camera straps.Key Features

Kata DR-465 DL Handling
The bag is comfy to wear and easy to slip on and off. The adjustable straps make it easy to get the perfect fit. Texturing on the straps mean that it won't slip off your shoulder easily. The zips feel durable yet are easy to open and close. It's easy to quickly get your equipment in and out of the bottom compartment. The internal dividers are easily moved around to fit your equipment well. The bag looks sleek, and most importantly looks like an ordinary rucksack so that you're not obviously carrying around expensive equipment. It's great because you can also use it as a normal backpack, too.
Kata DR-465 DL Performance
The bag's design makes it very quick and easy to access your equipment. We managed to fit an Olympus E-30 body and two lenses in very easily, though it was a little snug when removing the lenses. You can move the separating panels to fit in a flash gun, too. It is very easy to securely attach a tripod to the side of the bag and it is equally as easy to remove. The smaller pockets are ideal for carrying your cables and spare batteries and the top compartment is great for a small lightweight coat and some lunch when you're out for the day. The bag is also easy to slip on and off of a suitcase handle too.
Kata DR-465 DL Value For Money
The Kata DR-465 DL is available for £69.95 from Wex photographic. This is a good price for a bag with so much versatility and the ability to carry enough kit for a day out. Other bags that carry the same amount of kit are the Lowepro Fastpack 200, which is available for £56, and the Tamrac 3375 Aero Speed 75 backpack, available for £64.95.
Kata DR-465 DL Verdict
This bag is very good for its price. It is sleek looking, and can pass for a normal rucksack, which can only be a benefit to photographers. It fits enough equipment for a day trip, with enough spare room for other non camera related items you might want to take along.Kata DR-465 DL Pros
