Kodak's new PalmPix accessory enables Palm m100 users to capture and share full colour digital pictures. After taking pictures using your Palm m100 and the new Kodak PalmPix digital camera, you can transmit them via infrared to other m100 users and download them onto your computer in seconds using the Palm m100 cradle.

The 80 PalmPix is PC and Macintosh compatible and  captures full colour VGA resolution pictures, which can be viewed in greyscale on the Palm's screen. Once downloaded, pictures can be accessed as either JPEG or BMP files for Windows, or JPEG or PICT files for Macintosh. Full software is supplied so your pictures are ready for editing, saving and e-mailing.

It's equipped with a 2X digital zoom, self-timer and two image quality settings, and weighs just 45g (without battery)

The camera comes complete with an AAA battery, User Guide, and CD-ROM including Macintosh and Windows conduits, PalmPix application for Palm m100 Handheld and ArcSoft PhotoImpression 2000 software.

Damian Dinning, Capture Manager, Kodak's Digital & Applied Imaging Division, Europe, Middle East and Africa Region told ePHOTOzine, 'This is a must-have accessory for any Palm m100 owner.  With the new Kodak PalmPix digital camera, taking colour digital pictures is easy, fast and fun and you can beam your snaps to other m100 users in a matter of seconds.'
