Kodak has announced a new rugged waterproof camera, the WPZ2 featuring a 4x optical zoom, and a waterproof rating of 15m.

Pixpro WPZ2

Kodak has announced a new rugged waterproof camera, the WPZ2, which will join the PIXPRO line of cameras. It is on display for the first time at IFA 2019.  

The WPZ2 is waterproof to 15m, has a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor and a 4x optical zoom. It is capable of shooting 1080p Full HD video and is shockproof to 2m. The camera has Wi-Fi built-in.

Pricing and availability 

The WPZ2 will be available for 149 Euros throughout Europe in the coming months.

The Kodak AZ1000 has been on our radar for a number of years - we saw the camera at TPS 2018, and now we know that it will be available in fall 2019 for 549 Euros. 

The AZ1000 is designed to help you get good shots of the moon and features a 102x zoom with a 20 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor. Full specifications can be found here.
