'Sheep in snowstorm, Borrowdale' by John Gravett
Lakeland Photographic Holidays in the Lake District is offering budding photographers a specialist Winter Landscape Photography Workshop this November, complete with cosy accommodation, warm hospitality and mouth-watering comfort food.
The workshop will provide an idyllic retreat for photography enthusiasts of every ability, making the most of the spectacular frosted Lake District landscapes by day and enjoying post-production discussions and the company of a renowned professional photographer by night.
Led by John Gravett, one of the UK’s most respected landscape photographers, the workshops take participants off the beaten track to some of Cumbria’s most awe-inspiring Winter views. Each day is spent doing as opposed to talking, with John providing practical coaching from the field and encouraging individual style, as every aspect of landscape photography is covered and the dramatic skies, atmospheric clouds and mirror-like lakes are captured.
As well as dedicated tuition, delicious breakfasts, tasty packed lunches and hearty four course home-cooked dinners are included. Comfortable, spacious bedrooms are provided in Lakeland Photographic Holiday’s beautiful home in the charming Lakeland Village of Braithwaite along with stunning views from the doorstep, a digital dark room and a lecture room.
Suitable for all competences from complete beginners to skilled snappers, the Winter Landscape Photography Workshop takes place on the 23rd of November and costs £495 per person for four nights including accommodation, tuition, food, soft drinks and all excursions.
