Photographers now have until 10 May 2020 to enter the competition and as you can enter images back-dated to 5 April, it will give photographers the chance to look through hard drives and memory cards while they're staying at home.

As for the winner's announcement, this will now take place on 18 October 2020 in The Sunday Times Magazine and the 13th edition of the 'Landscape Photographer of the Year' book featuring the 2020 award winners will be published in October, with an exact date to be announced.

Finally, the 'Landscape Photographer of the Year' exhibition is now scheduled to start in central London in mid-November where it will have a three-month residency before travelling around the country, exact dates along with location details will be released shortly.

The final judging stage will also see changes for 2020 as normally, this stage takes place at a venue in central London with all judges attending in person. However, the judges have decided not to proceed with this set up this year and will practice social distancing as recommended by the government and the WHO. Instead, the final judging round will take place remotely as with all of our other judging stages.
