Landscape Photographer Of The Year Exhibition Goes On Tour

The Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition has left Waterloo Station, heading up north for the first stop on its national tour. 

The first venue outside Britain's capital is Edinburgh Waverley, where the exhibition is now open until the end of March. After Edinburgh, the exhibition moves on to Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham before heading back to London and finishing its tour in Cardiff.

More than 55 photographs will be on display and all of the main winners of the competition are included. 

Commenting on the touring exhibition, David Biggs, director of commercial property for Network Rail, said: "Hosting this unique exhibition tour is another example of how we are using the space in our stations to stage innovative events that not only appeal to people already using our stations to travel but also entice people from surrounding communities.

Over the last five years, the display has proved to be a great way of surprising and delighting our customers, whilst making our stations destinations in their own right. This year the standard of images is higher than ever and we hope they will be enjoyed by the millions of visitors and passengers who use our stations every day."

If you'll be travelling to a city train station this spring, here's where the Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition will be making stops (dates may be subject to late change): 

• Edinburgh - 14 March to 31 March
• Leeds - 2 April to 22 April
• Manchester - 23 April to 5 May
• Birmingham - 7 May to 19 May
• Victoria - 21 May to 3 June
• Paddington - 5 June to 24 June
• Cardiff - 11 July to 28 July (TBC)
