According to Micro Four Thirds fan, David Thorpe, the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 is a 'very credible addition to the 'ever-expanding armoury of Micro Four Thirds lenses' but how does it perform when put against a Micro Four Thirds wide-zoom? This is the question David is answering in his latest review by looking at the lens build, performance, size and price.

Once you've watched the video, do take a look at David's YouTube channel where you'll find more camera and lens reviews.

A micro four thirds lens that's tiny, wide, fast [for its AoV] and inexpensive? What were they thinking of? Surely what we want is something huge and expensive.

It seems only third parties can remember what the appeal of the format was supposed to be.
