Layers Upon Layers Of Landscape Perfection Feature In Our 'Photo Of The Week'

'Serenity' captured by ePz member Pete2453 is simply a beautiful image that features all of the ingredients you need to capture a landscape photo that's well worthy of being crowned our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW).

Once you start looking at the photo, you can't stop as the depth of field pulls you through the photo from the front of the lake to the mountain detail disappearing into silhouette at the back. 

The way the land merges with the reflection gives the image a fine art feel while the detail of the layered mountains and trees gives you even more interest to look at. The way the mountains gently sit on top of each other reminds us of the gentle art of creating landscapes from tissue paper and could equally be a painting some great artist has created and hung on the wall. We also love the tones that are cool yet have a touch of warmth coming through them that you can almost feel while looking at the shot. 

It's simply beautiful - landscape perfection!
