LONDON, England (3rd September 2020) – LEE Filters, a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting gels and photographic filters, has appointed Tim Haskell as Sales Director. Haskell takes over from Ian Clark, who retired at the end of July 2020 after further developing and successfully leading the company’s global sales strategy.
Haskell, who has significant sales, business development and marketing experience in the imaging industry, will lead the company's sales and business-development activities across the globe when he joins LEE Filters this month.
“Tim further reinforces our commitment to the growing needs of our global clients,” said LEE Filters Managing Director Paul Mason. “He is a respected industry professional who brings valuable experience and expertise with retail, manufacturing and distribution in relevant industry and market sectors. His perspective will help us continue to deliver innovative products that respond to and anticipate our customers’ technical and artistic requirements. I am sure that Tim will continue the hard work and progress led by Ian to build upon our industry-leading position and develop deeper relationships and partnerships around the world.”
Haskell comes to LEE Filters with an established network and industry relationships from his previous senior-level sales roles at Rotolight, XP Distribution, Bowens and the Calumet Group. He will be based at LEE Filters UK in Andover, Hampshire, but will travel globally to support the company’s valued clients.
Haskell said, “LEE Filters have always been the go-to lighting filter brand for my customers and my team since I started in professional photographic retail some years ago.
"LEE is a trusted brand and dedicated partner in the industry,” Haskell continued. “I’m thrilled to be joining this premium quality, innovative filter manufacturer, and I’m looking forward to guiding and supporting the LEE team in delivering the highest-quality products and services to our customers. I am particularly excited about the company's recent launch of the new LEE85 camera filter system, bringing LEE's world-class camera filter technology to users of smaller format mirrorless camera systems and reminding the industry of LEE’s proud tradition of ingenuity and artistry.”
Haskell joins the LEE Filters team on 14th September, 2020. For more information, please contact sales@leefilters.com.
