Lee Filters has announced that Inspiring Professionals and Inspiring Professionals 2 are now available for the iPad.

Packed with expressive, lavish photography, Inspiring Professionals and Inspiring Professionals 2 provide an intelligent and illuminating insight into the ways of working of some of the UK’s finest photographers. Now, for the first time, these two hugely popular publications by LEE Filters are available to download in eBook form.

Redesigned for the iPad, and featuring interactivity such as scrolling text and tapping images to view full screen, the two books feature the same balance of outstanding photography and informative essays as their hardback counterparts, with the added advantage of the vivid images being optimised for viewing on the iPad screen. The experience makes the most of the outstanding photography, by contributing photographers who include the likes of Charlie Waite, Joe Cornish, David Ward, Tom Mackie and David Noton, among others.

Both books provide guidance on not only the ‘how’ but the ‘why’ to use filters, revealing why, in this digital age, they are as relevant and essential a piece of kit as they ever were.

While Inspiring Professionals covers filter types, such as neutral density grads, warm-up filters, the polariser, filters for black-and-white photography and how to combine different filters, Inspiring Professionals 2 is led by subject matter, and includes chapters on the likes of architecture, mountains, the coast, travel and water.

Inspiring Professionals and Inspiring Professionals 2 are available for iPad only, and can be downloaded from the iBooks store at a cost of £5.99 each. Hardback copies of each book can be purchased for £10 each, from the Lee Filters website.
