A new long-exposure filter from LEE Filters has arrived.

The Little Stopper

LEE Filters has extended its range of filters with the introduction of the Little Stopper.

The Little Stopper, which lengthens exposures by six stops, is ideal for low light situations where the popular Big Stopper and its ability to increase photographic exposures by ten stops can sometimes prove too long.

For example, if a camera's meter indicates an exposure of 1/4sec at f/8, fitting the Little Stopper would increase the shutter speed to 16 seconds (while the Big Stopper would increase it to approximately four and a half minutes).

Like its bigger brother, the Little Stopper comes in sizes for both the 100mm system and the Seven5 system and it can be used either alone or in conjunction with other filters in the LEE Filters range.

The Little Stopper retails at £100.80 (inc VAT) for the 100mm Filter System and £68.40 (inc VAT) for the Seven5 Filter System.
