oooh its a bit ugly, and too small a body if all the lenses are going to be that big.

But if you can put a small lens on it, it may grow on me.

I'm with you Dannyr, it really is a bit, erm, ugly. But is it one of those designs - rather like the BMW 5 and 7 series a few years back - that make you go 'urgh' and then a few years later you think is exceptionally fine? Like the huge viewfinder.

I actually like it, what I don't like is the price but then, I am not target market. I thought 35mm f 1.8 (f 1.4) would be the first lens released. The Q is 28mm, is Leica giving up this focal length?

Not a great set of shots to show off the camera - the first two of the model the eyes aren't in focus - and the eyes should always be in focus, school boy error there.

Not what I'm seeing, I have to say.

But how come there's such a heavy colour cast on the ISO chart images? The AWB doesn't look too cracky, but surely you could have done a manual setting for the test? Noise performance doesn't look that great for 35mm format and I do think the camera is pig-ugly. Apart from the enticement of the big detailed EVF, this doesn't look like it has an awful lot going for it - unless you love red dots and have deep pockets, that is.

Really? Have another look at the first one, see how sharp it is on the hand, lips and nose, then look at the eyes. On the second, look at the lips and chin, then the eyes.
