Leica TL2 Comes With 24mp Sensor And 4K Video

Leica has announced the new Leica TL2, an update to the Leica TL, the new TL2 has a new 24 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, as well as 4K video recording. The Leica TL2, like the original Leica T, is machined from a single block of aluminium. The camera has three times faster contrast-based autofocus speeds compared to the previous model, quicker startup, plus the ability to shoot at 20fps using an electronic shutter, or 7fps with the mechanical shutter. The camera has a USB3 socket, and this can be used to charge the camera’s battery.

There are six TL lenses available for the camera, two fast primes (23mm f/2 ASPH and 35mm f/1.4 ASPH), a 60mm f/2.8 ASPH macro, and three zoom lenses, a 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH, 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH and 55-135mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH, covering a focal range of 17-200mm (in 35mm equivalent terms).
