Lensbaby has announced the new Velvet 28mm f/2.5 1:2 Macro lens with "Velvet" effect. The manual focus lens has a close focus of 5cm, with 1:2 macro, and is made up of 8 elements in 7 groups. You can create a "dreamy" velvet glow, or stop the lens down to reduce the creative effect. The lens is available for Canon EF, Canon RF, Nikon F, Nikon Z, Sony E, Pentax K, Fujifilm X, and Micro Four Thirds lens mounts, with an RRP of $549.
