LG has announced its latest flagship smartphone, the G4, featuring a 16 megapixel rear camera.

The G4's camera boasts laser focus that allows it to focus in just 0.276 seconds. It also features Quick Shot, where the camera takes a photo from a double click of the down volume button while locked.

LG say the G4 features the world's first colour spectrum sensor, allowing it to read an object's colour before an image is taken.

The G4's camera is also capable of capturing 4K video and features an f/1.8 aperture enabling better low light photography and lessening blur when the subject is moving.

LG have claimed that this camera is able to receive 80% more light than its predecessor the G3 at f/2.4. Its sensor is 40% larger than the G3's too and OIS has been improved for wider axis stabilisation. The lens also features a 0.11 glass blue filter that will help to stop infrared emissions without harming the colour balance.

There is also a front facing 8 megapixel selfie camera that has an ultra thin IR filter for enhanced colours.

The G4 has a 5.5 inch QHD LCD display with 1440x2560 resolution. It's available with a plastic back or real leather back. No pricing or availability has been announced as yet.
