G5

LG has introduced a new modular smartphone, the LG G5, which lets you add additional features or "modules" including a dedicated camera grip, with shutter release button, and controls.

The LG G5 has two cameras on the rear: one 16 megapixel camera with a standard f/1.8 78-degree lens and another 8 megapixel with a 135-degree wide angle lens, the widest available in any smartphone. The LG G5 has a number of photo effects including Pop-out Picture, Film Effect and Auto Shot. The front facing "Selfie" camera is an 8 megapixel unit.

Features include a slide out battery, a 5.3inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) screen with 3D Arc Glass, and the LG G5 runs the latest version of Android 6.01 (Marshmallow). The slide out modular battery lets you swap the standard battery unit for an optional LG Cam Plus or LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY unit.

LG G5 Camera Module

The LG Cam Plus is a camera module has physical buttons for power, shutter, record, zoom, with an LED indicator and comfortable grip. It also includes an additional 1200mAh battery in the grip, to give extended battery life over the normal 2800mAh battery (giving a total of 4000mAh).
