LG G6 Dual Camera Smartphone Announced

LG has announced the new LG G6, replacing the LG G5, and saying goodbye to LG's modular "LG Friends" system introduced with the LG G5. The new G6 has two cameras on the rear, one with an ultra-wide-angle (125 degrees) f/2.4 lens, the other with a more standard f/1.8 lens and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Here are the three cameras on the phone:

• 13mp rear, f/1.8 standard lens with OIS
• 13mp rear, f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle
• 5mp, f/2.2, wide-angle selfie camera, 100 degrees

The screen is a 5.7inch Quad HD+ (1440x1880) 18:9 aspect ratio touch-screen with a high resolution, and the smartphone has a screen to body ratio of 80.7%. The screen is large, but the phone has been designed to be easier to use with one hand, being taller rather than wider, thanks to the 18:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone runs Android 7.0, features a fingerprint sensor, and is water and dustproof. The phone features a 3300mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0, and is just 7.9mm thick. The phone features 4GB, and 32GB or 64GB storage depending on location / version, and can be upgraded with a MicroSD card.
