LomoChrome Metropolis XR 100-400 Is A Brand-New Colour Negative Film Emulsion

For the first time in 5 years, a new colour film has seen the light of day - introducing LomoChrome Metropolis - an original colour negative emulsion from the Lomography film manufactory.

Film photography has been experiencing a strong revival in the past few years and to keep with the theme, Lomography has released a new LomoChrome Metropolis Colour Negative film emulsion.

The LomoChrome Metropolis XR 100-400 will be available in 35mm, 120, 110 and 16mm (motion picture) film with an extended 10400 ISO range and fine cine-style grain.

"In a time of overwhelming technological distortion, oversaturation, instant gratification and creative deadening we've decided to take a few steps backwards – turning our eyes to the search for lost feelings and colours," says Lomography. 


LomoChrome Metropolis Film Technical Specs: 

  • Extended ISO range: 100-400
  • Standard C-41 development
  • Daylight balanced (5000K)
  • Available in multiple formats (35 mm, 120, 110 and 16 mm)
  • Fine-grain structure for high optical fidelity
  • Deep blacks and curved highlights
  • Aggressive tonal curve for dramatic exposures
  • The first new colour negative film stock
  • internationally released in over 5 years
