Wildlife and nature images are always a popular choice in the ePHOTOzine Gallery and this image, captured by BydoR9, now joins the long line of excellent bird shots that have won our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) award.

The team love the mood and muted tones of this shot with the rain adding interest to a background full of lovely bokeh. The Long Tailed Tit is sharp, standing out from the background and its feather texture almost being touchable. It goes to show that braving the elements is always worth the effort!
