Looking To Sell Your Old Camera Gear? Here's How You Can With CameraWorld: Camera World

The second-hand camera/lens market is an area of the industry that's growing by the day and as a photographer with used photography kit to sell, you should be taken advantage of this resurgence for the old.

You can, of course, sell your equipment privately through classifieds or a well-known auction site but if you want to make a few quid an easier way, then approaching a camera retailer who deals in used gear is a good idea and our exclusive partner, CameraWorld, does just that.

Looking to sell your old camera gear? It's as easy as 1-2-3 with CameraWorld!

How To Sell Your Used Photography Equipment

Selling your used camera gear with CameraWorld couldn't be easier and they are happy to take most photographic equipment - even equipment that other retailers will refuse.

To sell your equipment with CameraWorld, you first need to get in touch with them via an online form, email or you can give them a call. When you do, you'll need to describe your used equipment in as much detail as possible and if you're emailing/using the online form, you can upload an image so the team can see what equipment you'd like to sell.

If you like, you can also say you're interested in part-exchange - so you get money off another camera/lens rather than a cash value for your used equipment.

Next, the team will assess your request and give you a quote within 48-hours. If you're happy with the quote, the team will arrange free collection of your photography equipment and once the gear has been received, they'll check it, confirm the quote and pay you (or sort the part-exchange).

"We're interested in practically every make since the dawn of photography. Just as long as the item is in good condition, fully operational and all standard accessories (including battery chargers where applicable), whether it's a straight sale or to trade up to the latest model," says CameraWorld.

CameraWorld aims to beat any other quote and will buy everything from digital cameras to film SLRs, lenses to battery grips, camera bags and more.
