You can now edit images in Adobe Lightroom with a really cool controller that looks a bit like a DJ's mixing desk.

Loupedeck is a new controller that has the appearance of a mixing desk and is used to edit photos in Adobe Lightroom.
The team behind Loupedeck, which is compatible with both PC and MAC, wanted a way to make the photo editing process even more efficient and they've done this by putting everything you need into an ergonomic console.
“We’ve spent a lot of time with professional photographers, studied their workflow and ergonomics in order to create a controller that is as sophisticated and intuitive as possible,” says Mikko Kesti, CEO, Loupedeck. “As a result, Loupedeck’s design is reminiscent of a DJ-mixing desk. It allows any aspiring or established professional working with Adobe Lightroom to level-up their productivity and efficiency, all the while staying focused on what is important – high-quality results.”
The dials, knobs and sliders are on a surface which measures 156mm by 400mm and it weighs approximately 1kg. The top has a matt black finish and controls are clearly labelled with their function, as shown in the diagram below.
The Loupedeck isn't the first photo editing controller to be released as the Palette was introduced last year but it doesn't offer the same all-in-one practical design the Loupedeck does, but it is customisable should you prefer to build your own.
The Loupedeck team is currently looking for backers on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo where the Loupedeck is priced at £205. Following its global launch, this price will rise to £331.
